Villa Carola/Sinaia

The famous violinist and conductor Yehudi Menuhin (1916-1999) at age 11 for two months took violin lessons from George Enescu in Romania Sinaia. During this time he stayed at Villa Carola, and going every day to Luminis, Enescu’s house, get violin lessons.
Villa Carola was built in 1896 by Joseph Ungarth, a renowned trader, owner of great value hotels and restaurants.
