It’s a kind of jam, but very dense (boiled 10 hours!).

Hi Ileana, thanks for clarification. I think there is an alcoholic plum drink–wine or brandy–that is made and enjoyed by many people there. What is that called, and is it made from those tiny yellow plums?

Oh yes, it is the “tzuika” and the stronger one, the “palinka”. Now I understand! 🙂

I saved the seed from one of the little yellow plums I ate and planted it yesterday. If it grows into a tree, I will ask you for the recipe for tzuika!
