Who is the fellow in that statue?
Alexandru Dimitriu’s House. Neo-Romanian style.
The owner, decorational iron-smith, made the metal decorations for a number of public, religious, and private buildings around the country, among which: The Romanian Atheneum, Patriarchal Palace, The Northern Train Station, The Palace of Culture in Iasi, The Sturdza Palace in Miclauseni.
As a distinctive sign for the ironsmith guil, he placed a 3,5 m knight in full armor plate, wielding a hammer.

Merci, Ada, c’est vrai que la maison est tout a fait speciale. J’en fait souvent des photos car elle me plait beaucoup.
Meilleures salutations de Bucarest!
